Fiona Jacques, the administrator at Tupwood Gate Nursing Home, completed the 10 kilometre night time walk with a close friend of 20 years. They have both been affected by cancer after supporting family members with the illness, and wanted take on the challenge whilst raising money for a good cause.
The walk they embarked on started and finished at Hove Lawns in Brighton, the route passed Brighton Pier and snaked through the famous lanes of the town centre before finishing with a stroll along the sea front. Most of the walk took place in the dark, with lots of the fundraisers taking glow in the dark accessories and face paints.
Fiona started the walk at 7:55pm and finished at 10:03pm. Well done to everyone that took part and came together to raise money!
