On Wednesday 5th June guests, including friends, families, local community teams and special guest the Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, joined staff and service users in celebrating Cygnet St Augustine’s 10th Birthday.

In an aim to reduce restrictive practice, reduce agency usage and provide a higher standard of care; Cygnet Hospital Wyke's male PICU service, Austen Ward, have been trying to ensure no enhanced observations are used to manage violent and aggressive behaviour.

Cygnet Hospital Coventry appoint Dr Stephen Attard

Cygnet Hospital Coventry are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Stephen Attard. Dr Attard will be the lead consultant psychiatrist on the hospital's female PICU service, Dunsmore Ward, which opens in March 2017.

Recovery College Launch Events

On 10th and 17th January service users and staff members from across Cygnet attended the launch events for the network of Recovery Colleges opening their doors at 11 sites across Cygnet.
