Cygnet Annual Social Work Conference

March is World Social Work Month and on 22nd March 2022 we celebrated our second Cygnet Annual Social Work Conference. The conference featured contributions from guest speakers and Cygnet staff including the social work team at Cygnet Hospital Derby who gave a fantastic presentation on the work they did to support carers during the pandemic.

Cygnet Grange and Cygnet Lodge gain Headway Approved Provider Accreditation

We are delighted to announce that Cygnet Grange and Cygnet Lodge, our two neuropsychiatric care and treatment services in Sutton-in-Ashfield for those affected by acquired brain injuries, have successfully gained Approved Provider accreditation with Headway, the Brain Injury Association.

Cygnet Lodge Brighouse was pleased to welcome Calder Valley MP, Craig Whittaker, on a visit to the service last week. The local MP was joined by Councillor for Rastrick, Sophie Whittaker, and both were interested to learn about the range of support provided to help individuals on their mental health recovery journey.

Teamwork makes the dream work at Cygnet!

We celebrated Employee Appreciation Day with teamwork this year by extending the day to a whole week from 4th – 10th March with staff from support services teaming up with colleagues to work in a service for a day.
