Nominations now open for the 2022 National Service User Awards

Since its inception in 2013 Cygnet Health Care have been proud sponsors of the National Service User Awards and we are pleased to announce that nominations for the 2022 Awards are now open! This is a particularly special year as it is the 10th National Service User Awards.

The awards, which are organised by services users and residents with support from the Cygnet Marketing team, celebrate and recognise the different number of service user led projects that have made a difference at a local level in both NHS and private mental health, autism and learning disability services nationwide.

To submit a nomination please complete the online nomination form by visiting this link https://www.nsua.org/nominations/submit/. The deadline for submitting nominations is Wednesday 29th June 2022.

The 2022 Awards categories are:

Excellence in Co-production
All projects and initiatives that involve a strong element of co-production either internally or externally to a service.

Breaking down Barriers
Projects that tackle the stigma around mental health or raise awareness and educate people on mental health.

Recovery and the Arts
Creative projects that promote and support recovery including music, drama, art etc.

Health and Well-being
Projects that promote mental or physical health and wellbeing.

Outstanding Service User Leadership
This category recognises an individual or team that has made outstanding achievements in leadership and driving change.

The Mark Britton Service User Choice Award will also return for 2022. The winner of this Award will be determined by a live service user vote during the Awards ceremony.

Successfully shortlisted finalists will be notified by the end of July and invited to attend the Awards ceremony on Wednesday 14th September at Colwick Hall Hotel in Nottingham.
