The team at Cygnet Hospital Godden Green’s Castle Ward were delighted to receive a letter of thanks from a service user about how the care and compassion shown during her stay on Castle Ward has helped her find her way back to herself.
Writing in the letter the service user describes how, “I was lost and you ALL helped and found me.” Excerpts from the letter can be viewed below.
Castle Ward is Cygnet Hospital Godden Green’s 12 bed psychiatric intensive care service for women. The aim of the service is to provide a short, rapid intervention to help service users regain a sense of control and order in their lives, so they can move to a less restrictive care setting and ultimately return home.
