Headway Hatters Tea Party at Cygnet Grange

As part of Brain Injury Awareness Week two of our neuropsychiatric services, Cygnet Grange and Cygnet Lodge, held a ‘Headway Hatters Tea Party and Barbecue’.

Staff and service users from the region were invited to bring their hats and join us at Cygnet Grange in Sutton-in-Ashfield for the afternoon to raise awareness of brain injury and raise money for the Headway Charity.

There was a tombola, “photo booth”, guess the weight of the cake, hook a brain, and other activities during the event, followed by a delicious barbecue and tea party. People came with simple hats, creative hats and crazy hats and a prize was given for the most outstanding hat of the day.

Overall the day was a success despite the weather and over £150 was raised for Headway. Well done to everyone who took part.
