Cygnet sponsoring 2019 UKABIF Short Film Award

Cygnet are delighted to be sponsoring this year’s United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF) Short Film Award. The UKABIF Short Film Award is open to UKABIF members and non-members in the UK. The competition is now open and accepting entries.

The judging panel is looking for a three-minute, impactful, ‘punchy’ film that raises awareness of the benefits of neurorehabilitation after an ABI, with a specific focus on neurorehabilitation in hospital, and/or in the community, and/or in school, and/or in prison or in connection with sport.

UKABIF is encouraging entries from individuals with a brain injury, their families or carers, students, the general public, care providers and voluntary organisations, as well the rehabilitation multidisciplinary team, doctors in primary and secondary care, case managers, personal injury lawyers and social care workers.

The winner will receive £500 and the deadline for entries is the 20 September 2019 – films entered after this date will not be considered. The winner will be announced no later than the 11 November 2019.
