Cygnet Sherwood House opens Robins Rest Café

Cygnet Sherwood House, our specialist high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men near Mansfield, have recently opened their new café bistro called Robins Rest.

Keeping in line with the Sherwood Forest theme, Robins Rest has turned the old style dining room at the service into a modern day eating experience. The creation of the café was in response to feedback from service users who wanted a different experience at meal times.

The café provides more choice and saves on queuing time. Robins Rest is open to service users and staff Monday to Friday between 11am – 1.30pm with an additional Supper Club every Wednesday evening for service users. Menus are placed on the dining tables and the café also takes orders for special requirements.

The new café has proven a big hit with service users with one commenting that “the food is very tantalising” and another service user remarking that, “there is now loads of choice and more time to enjoy the food on offer.”

“Thank you to whole team for their help in developing and launching the new initiative. A special mention for the maintenance team for ensuring the café has been decorated to a high standard and to Rob Graham for producing a lovely canvas of Robin Hood which adds a great finishing touch.”Nita Roper – Service Manager
