Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke Inter-ward Archery Competition

The Occupational Therapy Department at Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke recently held their first annual inter-ward competition.

This month’s event was archery. There was a practice for all participants before going into the main event.

After the team event, the individual competition took place where there was service users from all wards competing against each other.

It was a lovely sunny afternoon with service users supporting each other regardless of what ward or team they were in, with refreshments throughout the competition provided by the catering team.

Winners of the team event was Sandford, the acute ward, with the individual event being won by a service user from Knightstone ward. Winners received a certificate and a water bottle.

Clinical Manager, Mike Kambasha awarded the prizes at the end of the competition, thanking the service users for a good afternoon and the OT team for organising the event.

Many service users said they enjoyed the afternoon, and are looking forward to the next inter-ward competition in October.
