“When people ask why I stay at Beckton for so long? It’s the team we have at Beckton. It’s a “family” and that includes our patients. It is the most rewarding feeling knowing you are a part of someone’s recovery and they say “thanks” when they are leaving. It makes all the “difficult” parts of the job worth it. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.”
Neil Henry, Clinical Practise Leader, said:
“My 21 years at Cygnet Hospital Beckton has been a fulfilling journey with absolutely no regrets. This 21 years journey has not been easy – it required a lot of courage, resilience, flexibility but, most importantly, making myself available to listening, learning and being open minded to changes. The ongoing support received from all departments has been a great enforcer in prolonging my employment at Cygnet Hospital Beckton.”
