Cygnet Health Care shortlisted for 4 HealthInvestor Awards

We are proud to announce that Cygnet Health Care have been shortlisted as finalists for 4 HealthInvestor Awards 2019 in the following categories:

  • Private Hospital Group of the Year
  • Residential Care Provider of the Year
  • Property Developer of the Year
  • IT Innovator of the Year

The HealthInvestor Awards promote excellence and recognise outstanding performance in the independent healthcare sector and receive over 250 submissions. The awards ceremony will take place on 12 June 2019.

The Private Hospital Group of the Year nomination comes following a successful merger with Cambian Adult Services and the acquisition of The Danshell Group leading to enlarged care pathways enabling us to offer more care solutions to our commissioners and service users. The nomination also recognises our Expert by Experience programme and Cygnet Elms Hospital which achieved an incredible outstanding CQC rating in all 5 KLOEs, following their most recent inspection from the CQC on 02 May 2018.

The Residential Care Provider of the Year nomination is in recognition of the development of a new supported living service in partnership with NHS Stafford CCG.

The Property Developer of the Year nomination highlights the growing development of services across the group in 2018, most notably the opening of the new state-of-the-art 65-bed Cygnet Hospital Maidstone.

Last but not least the IT Innovator of the Year nomination is for our unique and comprehensive myPath digital patient management platform and dashboard.

“We are delighted to have been nominated in four distinct categories at these prestigious awards, which recognise service excellence within our sector. We all work every day to continually strive to improve the experience of our service users, and it is rewarding to have an opportunity to, as a group, reflect on these achievements over the year.”Lee Hammon, Chief Commercial Officer

Thank you to all of our teams for their hard work in making the above nominations possible. We wish you all the best at the final in June.
