Cygnet Cycles in support of Ryan Anderton

This July Cygnet Health Care are pleased to be sponsoring Ryan Anderton’s World Record Cycling attempt. To support Ryan on his journey we are asking our staff to get involved with our own Cygnet Cycles event.

Starting on Wednesday 10th July Ryan will be cycling 4200 miles from Nordkapp in Norway to Tarifa in southern Spain to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention, as well as raising money for the Lee Fancourt Fund.

As part of the Cygnet Cycles event we would like as many of our services / offices as possible to join him and cycle 4200 miles together. For our units with an exercise bike, during July we’re inviting staff and service users to get cycling and clock up the miles in support of Ryan.

However, this challenge isn’t just about raising money and awareness for Ryan’s ride. Being active is a key part of improving physical and mental wellbeing, so this is a great opportunity to for staff and service users to work together and focus on healthy habits.

We will be following both Cygnet Cycles and Ryan Rides throughout July so keep an eye out for updates.
