Cygnet Brunel launch their first ‘Values Ambassadors’ Awards

On the 4th December Cygnet Brunel, our neuropsychiatric rehabilitation service in Bristol, celebrated its first ‘Values Ambassador’ awards.

Nominations for the new monthly awards were made by staff, service users, family members and visitors to the service. The awards were for staff who have demonstrated alignment with Cygnet values – with ambassadors representing each of the values – Care, Respect, Empower, Trust and Integrity.

The ceremony was held with service users, staff and visitors in attendance in the hospital’s ‘hub’area. All the nominations were read out in order to celebrate all the good work that happens at Cygnet Brunel.

The winners were selected by a panel who then awarded certificates, chocolates and a voucher to congratulate the winners for demonstrating commitment to Cygnet’s values.

Photos of the winners now have pride of place in the reception area each month for all to see. Hospital Manager, Stephanie Coxon said, “We loved our first awards ceremony and cannot wait for the next one in January 2020!”
