A DBT Therapist and a former service user from Cygnet Hospital Bierley's recently co-presented their experience of therapy at the Society for Dialectical Behavioural Therapy Conference.
On 16th October 2018 we hosted a free CPD-accredited educational event for health professionals titled “Pushing the Boundaries in Brain Injury”. The conference was held at the Hilton Leeds City Hotel and was attended by over 120 delegates.
The multi-disciplinary team (MDT) from Cygnet Hospital Sheffield’s Spencer Ward were delighted to be invited to do a presentation at a recent Yorkshire and Humber Involvement Network conference. The team were invited to do a presentation on MDT meeting standards.
Cygnet Hospital Bierley’s substance misuse programme and its preliminary outcomes were presented at this year’s British Psychological Society’s Division of Forensic Psychology Conference.
Cygnet Health Care's Reducing Restrictive Practice team continue to share their work nationally as Rosalyn Mloyi (Reducing Restrictive Practice Lead) and Raf Hamaizia (Expert by Experience Lead) presented at the BILD 2018 Restraint Reduction Conference held on 5th-6th March 2018.
