Cygnet Hospital Godden Green recently held their annual summer BBQ for carers in order to celebrate, acknowledge and to show appreciation for the important role that carers have.
The event was a great opportunity for the service users’ families to meet all the professionals involved with their loved ones care.
As well as the delicious BBQ provided by the kitchen staff there was ice cream, warm doughnuts and candy floss to tuck in to. Service users got involved by taking part in a baking day to cook some delicious cakes for the event.
Thank you to the kitchen staff for the fabulous food, to the service users for their delicious cakes and to Sam Dodd and Zoe Collins our Carer Support Leads for setting this event up and ensuring everything ran smoothly so that everyone enjoyed themselves.
Most of all thank you to all the carers that attended and contributed towards this event being such a success.
