Long Eaton Day Services specialises in supporting individuals with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, in addition to those with complex health needs, physical disabilities and those with autism. We have a long history of enhancing the quality of life of the individuals who attend the service.

We have a focus on demonstrating outcomes and value through our activities, which are derived from our professionals, parents, carers and most importantly the individuals who spend their days with us.

Our services are led by three key disciplines: occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy. Our multi-disciplinary approach allows us to develop a clear and focused activity plan that works towards maximising an individual’s potential and gaining the inputs as needed from the on site dedicated clinical team.

With our staff and a clinical team, our staffing model provides one member of staff for every two individuals as a minimum. This allows us to deliver a meaningful activity plan for each
individual. Our activity plans are person centred and co-produced, each one taking into account our guests likes, dislikes and comfort zone.

We have different groups that run in different areas of the service to cater to a multitude of social, sensory and support needs. We also have facilities to enable those who would prefer to complete activities alone, to do so with the support of staff.

We provide dedicated transport that is available to and from home, as well as for regular trips out and about into the community and further afield.

Our days are flexible and with the involvement of the individual and their carers, we maximise the time that is spent while they are with us. Our service provides flexibility for families and carers, with opening times from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday.
