Meet the Team

Rachel Clifford - Manager

Rachel has worked in social care for over 37 years. She started off her career working for Staffordshire Social Services, where she spent 20 years working in adult social care services, which included residential and daycare for the elderly. She has experience of working as a performance and compliance manager, where she worked in a senior management capacity and at the same time was responsible for the quality and compliance of five large extra care schemes throughout Staffordshire and Shropshire.

Rachel has been a registered care manager since 2012, overseeing extra care schemes, residential care homes for adults with learning disabilities and individuals with a dual diagnosis of learning disabilities and mental illness.

Rachel's most recent position was working as a locality manager, overseeing forensic supported learning disability supported living services.

Tazina Taylor - Deputy Manager

Tazina has been working in care for over 10 years. She has experience of working in residential settings and supported living, supporting individuals with dementia, learning disabilities and autism.

Tazina started her career as a support worker and has worked her way up to her current position of Deputy Manager at Glyn House.

Beth Roylance - Administrator

Beth joined Cygnet in March 2019 as the administrator for Glyn House. She has a vast amount of experience working in various administration and HR roles.

Beth’s role includes training, compliance reports, finances, recruitment and aiding staff with any requests.

Jubilee Celebrations at Glyn House

Residents at Glyn House have been enjoying some jubilee celebrations this weekend. Staff decorated the service and arranged an afternoon tea for the residents, they also baked some cakes for everyone to enjoy and wore crowns and tiaras for the occasion!

This month’s lunch theme for Glyn House was Beauty and the Beast. Staff and residents enjoyed trying the French cuisine with different pastry’s and homemade quiche.
