Sophie Beech - Hospital Manager

Sophie joined Cygnet in 2009 as a staff nurse and worked at St. Augustine’s since its opening. She was promoted to senior staff nurse in 2014 and further promoted to Deputy Hospital Manager in 2017.

Sophie is a qualified registered mental health nurse and was trained at Keele University. She has 14 years of nursing experience of working in rehabilitation. Whilst in the role of deputy manager at St.Augustine’s Sophie’s duties were to undertake all care management responsibilities as delegated by the Hospital Manager. To promote and maintain high standards of patient care, and to lead the care team in providing skilled care of all patients. Her role included taking responsibility for the safeguarding of adults, ensuring effective clinical practices are in place, mentoring and supervision of staff, and implementation and monitoring of company policies and procedures.

Sophie moved to Cygnet Nield house as Hospital Manager in 2021.

Ellice Johnson - Head of Care (Clarion Ward)

Ellice qualified from Keele University in 2017. She has 10 years of experience both as a support worker and a nurse working in the private sector with experience of working within female rehabilitation services specialising in personality disorder. She joined Cygnet in Spring 2020 as a physical health nurse before being promoted to head of care in 2021.

As head of care, her duties include any care management responsibilities delegated by the hospital director and promoting and encouraging a high standard of person centred care by leading the care team. Ellice offers education and support to enable good skilled nursing care and positive patient outcomes alongside mentoring and supervision of staff and monitoring of training compliance and implementation of policies and procedures.

Lauren Robinson - Assistant Psychologist

Lauren is an assistant psychologist and joined the team at Nield House in April 2021. Before starting in post with Cygnet Healthcare, she worked as a healthcare assistant. Lauren loves shopping, paint by numbers, traffic cops and crime documentaries! When she can she enjoys trips to GoApe and eating out!

Caroline Mole - Assistant Psychologist

Caroline is an assistant psychologist who joined Nield House in September 2020 as a support worker. Before working in healthcare she worked in IT for 6 years. She joined Nield House to help and support individuals through their recovery.Caroline likes anything Disney themed, Star Wars films and shows and visiting Disney parks!
