Harrison Carnegie - Hospital Manager

Harrison joined Cygnet Churchill in 2018, where he oversaw the physical and primary healthcare management of the service users at the hospital. Harrison is as a registered general nurse and has been supporting patients physical healthcare needs in mental health services since 2011. He was appointed Hospital Manager of Cygnet Lodge Lewisham in March 2023.

Anthony Aigbe - Clinical Manager

Anthony is a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a first class degree from the University of Greenwich. He also has a B.sc in Biochemistry and an M.sc in Applied Environmental Science.

Anthony joined Cygnet Hospital Beckton in 2013 and has extensive experience working as a clinical practice lead in the Low Secure Forensic unit and the Psychiatry Intensive Unit. Anthony was the Acting Service Manager for the Low Secure Forensic unit in Beckton in 2017 before becoming Registered Manager at Cygnet Lodge Lewisham. He was appointed Clinical Manager of Cygnet Hospital Blackheath and Cygnet Lodge Lewisham in March 2023.

Anthony is passionate about staff empowerment, development and service user’s involvement in service improvement. He is service user focused and committed to quality and holistic care.

Dr Ajay Bhatnagar - Medical Director

Dr Bhatnagar has been a Consultant Psychiatrist since March 2008, working in Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust in London. He is currently working as the Consultant for the Intensive Case Management in Psychosis Team ( ICMP), Bromley Borough. He is also the Trust lead for ICMP.

Dr Bhatnagar’s work focuses on recovery orientated practice in patients with complex needs and he is very interested in continually developing high quality of service for the client group.

Cygnet Lodge Lewisham welcomed Dr Bhatnagar into the team on 1st June 2009 when he undertook the role of Consultant Psychiatrist and Responsible Clinician. In 2016 he was appointed Medical Director of Cygnet Lodge Lewisham and Cygnet Hospital Blackheath.

Dr Victoria Mee - Regional Lead for Psychology

Dr Victoria Mee is a HCPC registered Clinical and Forensic Psychologist and the Lead Psychologist for Cygnet Blackheath & Lewisham.

Victoria completed her studies in the United States, obtaining her Doctorate in Clinical Forensic Psychology in 2013 at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Since then, she has worked both in the US and the UK, and has held posts within both the clinical and forensic fields, in a wide range of inpatient and outpatient settings. She has experience working within the NHS, the Ministry of Justice, as well as other government funded organisations, private providers, and within private practice.

Victoria has strong clinical experience working with a broad range of therapeutic models, psychological assessment tools, and complex case presentations.

Victoria’s main clinical interests and experience have been in trauma, psychosis, personality disorder, as well as the assessment and management of violence and aggression, and sexual aggression.

Rachel Kitten - Deputy Head of Occupational Therapy

Rachel completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy at London South Bank University and graduated in September 2007. Rachel's career has mainly been in the area of forensic/low secure mental health. Rachel joined Cygnet Health Care in October 2012 as a Senior Occupational Therapist. Rachel first worked at Cygnet Hospital Beckton on Bewick Ward, the female low secure service where she led on various projects including the London ROG meeting and monthly market stall.

In 2015 Rachel moved to the post of Deputy Head Occupational Therapist for Cygnet Hospital Blackheath and Cygnet Lodge Lewisham. Rachel continues to be very interested in the area of personality disorder and also has a great interest in the area of hearing voices and other unusual experiences. Rachel practices a recovery based approach and frames mental distress in the context of trauma. Rachel is passionate about occupational therapy's role in the area of recovery.

Lloyd Curtis - Activities Coordinator / SRG Lead

Lloyd joined Cygnet Hospital Blackheath in March 2012 in the role of Activities Coordinator originally on Tyler Ward, then moving on to Meridian Ward after 18 months. Prior to this he was a Housing Support Worker in charge of an 8 bedded hostel for young adolescent males. This role included getting the service users involved in activities for daily living, budget responsibility, Advocacy & other services.

As an activity coordinator he provides a range life skills opportunities for service users. He also assists in the planning and implementation of the social activities for staff and also for the service users.

In April 2015 he took on the role of SRG Chair, a role which he has developed and grown into and made a considerable improvement. Lloyd excels in this role as he has a very good rapport with all the staff at Cygnet Hospital Blackheath and Cygnet Lodge Lewisham.

Outside of Cygnet, Lloyd volunteers to accommodate European Students who are on a Cultural Awareness program.
