Sycamore 1 is our 17 bed male acute service at Cygnet Hospital Taunton. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for men who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.

Sycamore 2 is our 9 bed male acute service at Cygnet Hospital Taunton. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for men who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.

Swift Ward – Acute Service for Men

Swift Ward is Cygnet Hospital Taunton’s 15 bed male emergency acute inpatient service. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for individuals who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.

Peacocks Ward – Acute Service for Men

Peacocks Ward is a small and supportive four bedded pre-discharge service for men. It is a peaceful and quiet environment which has the sole aim of working with service users to plan for their discharge out of hospital.

Redwood Ward – High Dependency Complex Care Service for men with Learning Disabilities

Redwood Ward is a high dependency complex care service for men with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs.
