Staff and young people from Cygnet Hospital Sheffield recently took part in a Spectrum Colour Walk ahead of World Autism Acceptance Week to raise money for the National Autistic Society.

She shares how engagement with the Occupational Therapy team set her on the right path and improved her confidence, communication skills, awareness of self and others, community skills and developing her trust in trying new things.
Today is Young Carers Action Day and the young people at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield have launched a leaflet they have designed and produced, aimed at raising awareness of what a Young Carer is, and how they can get support.
Well done to Ciro Theaker who has completed a gruelling 55km run between Sheffield and Leeds to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital after it cared for his daughter who was born 15 weeks premature.
In October we launched our annual Christmas Card Competition and asked service users and residents across the country to submit their designs.
