Travelling by Public Transport

Cygnet Hospital Sheffield is situated close to Sheffield Train Station.

  • 3 minutes walk to Sheffield Transport Interchange, located opposite the train station
  • Number 48 bus to Heeley Bank Road / Olive Grove Road (12 minute journey
  • Approx 7 minute walk to hospital – From bus stop bear left at fork in road and at end of road turn left onto Olive Grove Road. Continue to end of road and turn right onto East Bank Road. The hospital is on the left after East Hill Gardens.

Directions from the M1

  • From the M1, exit at Junction 33 sign posted ‘Sheffield City Centre’
  • Take the third exit off the roundabout sign posted Sheffield
  • Go straight ahead onto the Sheffield Parkway
  • Continue on the Parkway, passing Asda on your left
  • Just before the Park Square roundabout, you will see the
    Central Retail Park on your left
  • At the roundabout take the third exit onto Sheaf Street,
    passing Ponds Forge leisure centre on your right
  • Continue straight on passing Sheffield Hallam University on
    your right and the train station on your left
  • Carry on straight ahead at the traffic lights onto Suffolk Road
  • You will see a McDonalds straight ahead, carry straight on to
    Farm Road, passing the McDonalds on your left
  • At the junction carry continue straight ahead onto East Bank Road,
    passing a petrol station on your right
  • Continue and you will see Cygnet Hospital Sheffield on your left,
    just after East Hill Gardens.
