Meet the Team

Simba Kaseke - Hospital Manager

Simba is a registered nurse with over 12 years experience of working within the NHS. He has worked in a variety of mental health settings and is experienced in delivering services at operational and strategic levels. Simba has particular interest in personality disorder services and holds a Master’s degree in Psychodynamic and Psychosocial Nursing.

Just prior to joining Cygnet, Simba worked as a Modern Matron and then as an Inpatients Service Manager with West London Mental Health NHS Trust. He was the regional winner (London) for the national Mental Health Hero Award for his exceptional leadership and outstanding work to help, support and care for people experiencing mental health crises.

Belinda Mawire – Clinical Services Manager

Since qualifying as an RMN at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University in 2007. Belinda has over 10 years practicing as a Registered Mental Health nurse with experience in a variety of psychiatric settings. Belinda joined Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke in February 2008 as preceptorship nurse initially working as an RMN on the PICU and later moved the male rehabilitation ward.

Belinda moved to Cygnet Lodge Lewisham as a senior RMN in 2010 and was later promoted to Clinical Team then Registered Manager before moving to Cygnet Hospital Maidstone as a ward manager. Belinda has experience of working at management levels in both PICU and Personality Disorder at Cygnet Maidstone and has now joined the team at Godden Green as Clinical Services Manager where she oversees the clinical teams across the hospital.

Ruvini Senasinghe – Consultant Psychiatrist for Castle Ward

Dr Senasinghe joined the team at Cygnet Hospital Godden as Consultant Psychiatrist for Castle ward in January 2020. She qualified in Sri Lanka with her primary medical education (MBBS) in 1991. She has been a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK since 2006 (MRCPsych ) and approved under the Section 12 (2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.

Dr Senasinghe has special expertise in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. She also has a special interest in physical health problems in psychiatric patients. She has worked in various settings in mental health as a consultant psychiatrist since 2006, including working in the NHS and independent sector. Her experience includes in working with patients in the community mental health services, acute psychiatry inpatient wards and PICU wards.

Nena Aitlegbe – Castle Ward Manager

Nena is a qualified Registered Mental Health nurse. She has worked in mental health services for over 10 years in a variety settings including community and in patient services. In addition to an MSC in Mental Health Nursing, Nena has a Post Graduate Certificate in Dual Diagnosis. These have given her a solid educational background for the challenging and demanding task of managing a PICU ward.

She is assertive, resilient and passionate about her staff well-being because they are the drivers behind our patients’ safety and overall care. Nena loves making positive difference in peoples’ lives and being a nurse has offered her the platform to do just.

Becki Rudwick - Oakwood Ward Manager

Becki is a qualified Mental Health Nurse. She has worked in a variety of settings including forensic services, PICU, acute services. Becki started her nursing career within medium secure forensic services before progressing to management in personality disorder and DBT settings.

Becki is passionate about quality improvement and empowering others to fulfil their potential. She believes this creates an environment where staff are able to grow individually and patients are supported and encouraged through their admission to result in a successful recovery.

Elena Boghean - Head of Psychology

Elena joined the team at Cygnet Hospital Godden Green as Lead Forensic Psychologist in August 2021, having previously worked at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone as Senior Forensic Psychologist in forensic low secure and rehabilitation wards.

Elena is a qualified and experienced forensic psychologist with significant clinical knowledge and skills across a number of specialist areas including Clinical Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Organisational Psychology and Applied Psychology within National Security, supporting clients and teams in different settings (private and in inpatient settings) in Romania and U.K.

Elena works in a compassionate, collaborative and problem solving way with service users, Her aim is to help them to overcome a range of difficulties that have been impacting on their quality of life and psychological wellbeing, assisting them to fulfil their potential.

Viktoriya Gallacher - Lead Occupational Therapist

Viktoriya is a qualified Occupational Therapist with experience of working with wide range of client groups, hospital and community based settings. She worked in Mental Health Rehabilitation Services for adults and young people for the over 5 years before choosing CAMHS as her preferred area of practice.

Viktoriya’s skills as an OT really help to support young people to achieve success in spite of their challenges with anxiety, depression and negative thoughts and believes. Planning activities so they are achievable is a really important part of what she does.

Viktoriya’s job is busy and demanding with many positives. Seeing a young person smile and talk with excitement about the future fills her heart with joy and pride, motivates her to work tirelessly to promote the value of Occupational Therapy here at Godden Green.

Samantha Dodd – Lead Social Worker and Safeguarding Lead

Sam joined Cygnet Hospital Godden Green in 2019 as the Lead Social Worker and Safeguarding Lead. Sam is a qualified and experienced Social Worker and has worked in various settings including education, social care, safeguarding and the voluntary sector supporting both adults and children. She has experience of assisting those affected by mental health, domestic abuse, substance misuse and learning disabilities specialising with those with autism.

Sam has a passion for promoting both service user and staff wellbeing which supports and enables an encouraging setting resulting in positive outcomes. Sam acknowledges the importance of individual needs and validation when it comes to wellbeing, making herself available to listen and offer support.

Douglas Daka - Support Services Manager

Douglas has been with Cygnet for 6 years now after previously working for a financial services company. Douglas possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science and initially joined Godden Green as a support worker. Douglas has worked across settings including Low Secure, CAMHS Acute and PICU and is currently the Quality and Compliance lead.

Douglas is interested in all things science and is particular passionate about Natural History. He is an amateur horticulturalist and also enjoys exercise particularly the sport of running. Douglas has a passion for the promotion of patient centred care and ensuring services users are at the centre of service improvement.
