Elizabeth Ughu – Service Manager

Elizabeth graduated at the University of West London as an RNLD. Elizabeth completed a BSc (Hons) in HealthCare at the University of West London and has a Level 5 Diploma in Management. She has been working in the care sector for 15 years in range of roles in Adults and Children’s Health and Social Care Services, in the independent sector.

Elizabeth’s previous roles include, support worker, RNLD, senior staff nurse, Clinical Team Leader for mental health and learning disabilities in various clinical settings including acute, rehabilitation and forensic services. Elizabeth joined Bostall House as Service Manager in 2015. She is passionate about making a difference in the life of the people that we support.

Dr Saadia Arshad - Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr Saadia Arshad joined the team in January 2022 and is a Consultant in Psychiatry of Intellectual Disabilities and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. She works at Cygnet Bostall House in South London. She strongly advocates team working as well as inclusion and empowerment of service users.

Kim Lan Luc - Speech and Language Therapist

Kim graduated from City University of London as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2015. Since then she has gained extensive experience working with a wide range of patients from diverse backgrounds and settings, including hospitals/clinics, education, charity sector and overseas. She has a specialist interest in Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and complex needs. She is highly skilled at building positive therapeutic relationships with difficult to engage patients and is dedicated to providing compassionate person-centred care.

Janice Rennie - Clinical Team Leader

Janice started working in health and social care in 2011 as RMN. She has experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health issues especially those with challenging behaviours, forensic needs, personality disorders, self-harm. She has worked in clinical and leadership roles across different services with local authority, NHS and private healthcare providers. Janice has gained valuable experience across a wide range of roles including staff nurse, senior Staff Nurse, clinical team leader, Interim Registered manager.

Since joining Cygnet in 2017, Janice has worked as Senior Staff Nurse and promoted to the post of Clinical Team Leader in 2020. Janice role as Clinical Team Leader is to ensure clinical governance is completed correctly and accurately. She takes pride in trying to ensure that we deliver a high standard of care for our patients and ensure that the wellbeing of our staff is maintain.

Joanna Gosnell - Activities Coordinator

Joanna joined the company in May 2014 as a Senior Care Support Worker. After two years she was promoted to an Activity Coordinator which has been one of the most exciting jobs of her career to date. “Who wouldn’t have fun taking the clients to bowling, the cinema, places of interest and Nando’s”. As an activity coordinator she provides a range of life skills opportunities for the service users at Cygnet Bostall House. She also assists in the planning and implementation of the social activities for staff and also for the service users at Cygnet Bostall House.

In April 2020 she took on the role of SRG Chair, a role which she has developed and grown into and made a considerable improvement. Joanna excels in this role as she has a very good rapport with all the staff here at Cygnet Bostall House.

Joanna has recently trained to be an Occupational Therapy Assistant which hopefully will be just as exciting!
