Beckly

56 Cooper Lane, Shelf, Halifax, HX3 7RG

Beckly is an enhanced community residential home providing outcome focused care for adults with learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

Beckly offers a modern purpose-built residential accommodation with spacious communal areas and an enclosed outdoor garden within a homely family-style environment. It consists of Beckly House, an eight bed home and Beckly Lodge, being two, two bed apartments.

Located in the suburbs of Shelf near Halifax, the home is within close proximity to local services and amenities, including major transport links.

On-going assessment and high staffing levels, based on a minimum ratio of one staff member to two service users, means that we are able to meet the changing needs of service users as they progress through their care pathway, while ensuring their safety is maintained and their independence supported. Regular review meetings involving the service user, their family and professionals are held to review outcomes, set new goals and re-assess support levels as people progress.
