Welsh Appreciation Day at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital

This week the young people at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital have celebrated a Welsh appreciation day. A number of the young people at Joyce Parker are Welsh and we wanted young people and staff members to share in the Welsh culture. We celebrated by baking Welsh cakes, with a recipe kindly provided by the parent of one of the young people. We learnt some traditional Welsh phrases and took part in the Big Welsh Quiz! Everyone’s highlight seemed to be the Welsh Cakes!
