The Scarecus comes to Kirkside
The Gardening Project team put on a fun Halloween-themed event at Kirkside – The Scarecus! The team dressed up the garden’s polytunnel with a creepy circus theme. They made scarecrows with the residents as well as some punky pumpkins. Staff and residents dressed as clowns and each resident received an ‘unlucky bag’ and helium balloon like the film IT. A resident used his newly bought birthday DJ system to supply some spooky tunes and the Bakery Project provided some food ensuring that everyone had a socially distanced scream.
