Santa’s Grotto at Cygnet Hospital Godden Green
To celebrate the festive period and to lift spirits here at Cygnet Hospital Godden Green, the OT team here created a ‘Santa’s Grotto’ in the conservatory area. The team all dressed up as Elves and even got two maintenance men in on the fun to act as Santa and Santa’s little helper!
Over a two day period, they enabled all staff on shift (day and night) a chance to come off the ward and come down to visit Santa’s grotto. The elves greeted them with either a hot chocolate or mulled wine (non-alcoholic), some tasty treats and Santa handed out some Christmas gifts from management. It was a really successful two days and it really lifted staff spirits!
Well done to the OT team and to Jim and Joe in maintenance for all their hard work on this!
