Pride Party at Cygnet Hospital Bierley
On Friday 24th June the staff at Cygnet Hospital Bierley put on a fantastic Pride festival in the hospital courtyard. There were Pride themed tattoos, face gems, mocktails, party games and even an ice cream parlour!
Service users got involved taking pictures with props in the photobooth and playing some fairground games, and collectively the staff and service users made some artwork for the hospital with multi-coloured handprints. Even the rain didn’t stop the fun, with everyone continuing the festivities in the gazebo.
The star of the show was the amazing rainbow balloon arch made by our very own CQC Lead Michelle. The event was in aid of our chosen charity this year, Mind Bradford, and both staff and service users made donations totalling £32.00.
