Pride Celebrations at Cygnet Hospital Bierley
After waiting for a sunny day to hold their Pride celebrations, Cygnet Hospital Bierley held a Pride festival last week, celebrating all things Pride! Throughout the day there was music, festival make up, mocktails and sports for service users to join in with, and our courtyard flower beds were painted in Pride colours for service users to decorate.
It was also a dress down day for staff, and a bake sale was held to raise money for LGBTQ charity MindOut in support of the LGBTQ community. Service users enjoyed helping to run some of the stalls, such as preparing the mocktails and playing music. It was a great day all round.
