Old Leigh House celebrate Dignity in Care

Today is Dignity Action Day, an annual opportunity for health and social care workers, and members of the public to uphold people’s rights to dignity and provide a truly memorable day for people who use care services. Residents at Old Leigh House in Leigh-On-Sea, Essex, have been busy preparing for the day with the help of activity coordinator and Dignity Champion, Joanna Furtak who promoted the 10 Dignity Do’s. The residents made a dignity tree and wrote down their thoughts on what dignity in care means.
