Long Eaton Day Services Red Nose Day fun!

Well done to the team at Long Eaton Day Services who have raised £145 for Comic Relief. Service users and staff raised money throughout March by clocking up 50 miles of sponsored walking during the course of March. On Red Nose Day the service held a 90s themed day, where staff and service users dressed up as people from the 90s. We had Spice Girls, Mr Bean, Jurassic Park, Adams Family and much more.

We took part in fun activities throughout the whole day; baking cookies, a bake sale, fun red nose games (bowling, red nose spoon races), and scavenger hunt, where staff and service users went out in the community to the local park and library grounds to find red noses.

We also had a special performance in the afternoon by the new reformed Spice Girls themselves. Our cook put on a Red Nose Day menu for us all, the food was all red, with spaghetti bolognaise, and red velvet cake.
