Hooper Ward opens at Cygnet Hospital Beckton
On 28th March the staff team at Cygnet Hospital Beckton gathered for the opening ceremony of Hooper Ward, the hospital’s new 12 bed acute mental health service for women. The ceremony was led by Dr Arokia Antonysamy, Hooper Ward Consultant, Awa Bah, Clinical Services Manager, and Kenny Fadero, Hooper Ward Manager.
Dr Samy cut the ribbon and declared the ward newly opened with an inspired opening speech to all the team in attendance. The team enjoyed a tour around the beautiful ward, which after months of hard work is now ready and safe for referrals and admissions.
