Hawkstone’s afternoon tea for charity
The team at Hawkstone organised an afternoon tea on 10th August for residents and staff. The event was arranged as a fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support. So far the team have raised nearly £100 from the event.
Janine Coupe, Regional Administrator, contacted two companies near her home called Vintage Box and Craig’s Creations and they kindly donated the food for the event. Vintage Box supplied 20 afternoon teas including sandwiches, quiche, pork pies, scones and cupcakes. Craig’s Creations supplied cupcakes and a Victoria sponge cake.
They all tasted amazing and we are very grateful to the companies for their kind donations!
