Group Art Project at Cygnet Nield House

Staff and service users at Cygnet Nield House have been doing some research into Ada Nield Chew, who the service was named after. Ada was a campaigning suffragist who worked in the area. Whilst learning more about her, service users recognised the ward names, Compton and Clarion, as the factory name where Ada worked, and the van she used on her campaigns.

The ladies at the service used the research as inspiration during their art therapy session, where they all recreated part of her portrait before combining them into this fantastic piece.
