Gardening Project’s Gardeners of the Month
Congratulations to residents MB and TH who have been named the Gardening Project’s Gardner of the Month for January and February. The Gardening Project is based at Kirkside House in Kirkstall, Leeds. Roxanne Mace, the lead for the project said, “Over the past two months the guys have worked really hard clearing up after autumn and winter even after the big storms we have just had. The garden is looking much better after their good work.”
“TH is always telling me how many wheelbarrows he has filled and tries to beat his personal record every week and MB has helped to build new raised beds in the Polytunnel to make it easier to manage what we plant. He has also helped to lay new gravel along the paths to get ready for spring and summer.”
