Cygnet Wast Hills’ Pride celebrations
To celebrate Pride, the team at Cygnet Wast Hills organised an event to encourage diversity and acceptance within the service.
The day was focused both on our service users with the “create your own pride flag” activity, as well as to our staff members with a “guess the flag” game. The answers were provided on a pamphlet available on Friday 25th June.
Activity Coordinators Tomas Rosell and Lorenzo Broadbelt aimed to start a conversation between staff and to encourage self-acceptance and expression in order to encourage further tolerance in the hospital for future service users and staff members.
