Cygnet Hospital Stevenage host afternoon tea for carers, friends & family
Cygnet Hospital Stevenage held an Afternoon Tea for the carers, friends and family members of our service users earlier this month.
As well as being provided with some delicious cakes and sandwiches, the afternoon was a chance for carers to meet the Hospital Manager and the rest of the MDT. The team provided information in the form of our Carer’s Handbook, Cygnet’s co-produced Yellow Book, our co-produced Service User Newsletter and Psychology and OT timetable of activities.
Carers also had the opportunity to complete the Family and Friends Satisfaction Survey and were given a tour of the hospital including the new “Cyber Saints” Music Studio and the Gym. They were really impressed by the facilities available and felt that they would now be able to encourage their loved ones to engage with them.
The service are planning some more activities for Carer’s Week which runs from 6-12 June 2022.
