Cygnet Appletree show support for Ukraine
Cygnet Appletree have been working together to show support for Ukraine. They asked staff and neighbours to help collect essential items to send to Ukraine including; clothing, shoes, toiletries, baby items, food, medical supplies, batteries, flasks and blankets.
They also hosted a ‘Support Ukraine’ day where the dress theme was yellow and blue, with staff giving donations for the dress down day. Sandwiches made by the OT department were sold, the kitchen made Ukraine inspired deserts for dinner and a bake sale was hosted on the afternoon with service users making some of the cakes.
All the staff, service users and local community pulled together to support those affected in Ukraine. A massive thank you to all that supported, donated and helped.
In total they raised £361.55 which will be donated to the Red Cross Ukraine appeal.
