Carers BBQ at Cygnet Hospital Derby
Cygnet Hospital Derby held a Carers BBQ on the 16th July, which was a great success with 21 carers in attendance. All three wards came together with staff to celebrate all the support from carers with a BBQ, games, quizzes and karaoke. The hospital band ‘The Cygnet Swans’ played a wonderful set with service users from all three wards and our music therapist, including songs from Coldplay, Queen, Oasis, Nirvana and more. MIND charity were also in attendance and were able to provide additional information and support to carers and service users whilst raising money for the charity. The team are looking forward to making the day an even bigger celebration in 2023!
