Cygnet Hospital Bury Join Pride Rainbow Walk

Cygnet Hospital Bury joined the MO(NU)MENTARIES Rainbow Walk at Bury Pride last month. The walks were part of a wider art project to gather photography and videos for an exhibition opening in October. The art project celebrates writer, poet and activist Edward Carpenter and uses a remake of sandals designed by him to represent the stories, beliefs and struggles of the past asking ‘what do you stand for?’.

The staff and service users had a great day and the team were especially proud of one young person who volunteered to carry one of the flags during the walk.
