Birches Sky Dive for Rainbows Hospice
Team members at Birches are supporting team leader Ang Wood’s efforts to raise money for Rainbows Hospice by doing a sponsored sky dive. Rainbows Hospice have been supporting Ang’s grandson Kane who has a life limiting condition of rare epilepsy and is also blind.
The Birches team members taking part in the sky dive were all originally supposed to be jumping on the same day but bad weather has meant that they have had to jump separately. The first to take the plunge were deputy manager Mark Donegan and his wife Lucy who jumped on 15th September. Kane’s uncle Nathan Wood, who also works at Birches, will be jumping with Kane’s dad Craig on 30th September. So far they have managed to raise over £800!
