We offer a variety of specialist services, designed with specific groups of service users, or specific conditions, in mind. Drawing on a very broad range of therapies and approaches, we develop individual care programmes - to help each user address their symptoms and move on with their lives. We can see individuals as inpatients, day patients or outpatients - on an NHS funded, self-funded or privately insured basis.
Children & Adolescents

Borderline Personality Disorder
Through our award-winning programme, we enable women to address their problems in a safe environment, using individual, group and complementary therapies. Locked Learning Disabilities
This specialist health service for women with learning disabilities sits within a female hospital. It is designed for service users for whom mainstream provision cannot meet their needs. It is an inpatient provision to female service users, aged 18 and over with a learning disability who's challenging behavior and mental health needs require that they are detained under the Mental Health Act in a locked ward. We provide a specialist locked mental health service for older male service users at Cygnet Hospital Bierley in West Yorkshire. The service specifically caters for male service users who have a serious mental disorder and who could have a secondary diagnosis of personality disorder, mild learning disability, present with disturbed behaviour, or are a risk of physical danger to others or themselves. In response to the Bradley review this service provides rapid transfer to inpatient care and treatment for offenders with acute mental health problems.
