Male & Female Forensic Medium Secure Services

We treat individuals with a history of forensic and challenging behaviour. The two designated medium secure wards work as part of an integrated pathway within the building to allow patients to move down the care pathway from specialist commissioned secure services to CCG funded locked wards. This approach is designed to shorten lengths of stay and reduce cost, thereby enhancing value for commissioners.

Within the secure environment, our specialist rehabilitation treatment programme works across all wards with service users regardless of their security needs. The primary focus is needs based but addresses the key issues of substance misuse, personality disorder, and reducing risk to allow transition to a lower level of security.
