Cygnet provides low secure environments for male and female service users in a variety of convenient locations around the country. Service users may have a history of hospital admission, exhibit dangerous behaviour or have a history of challenging behaviour and/or offending behaviours. We use a specialised rehabilitation treatment programme for those suffering from severe and enduring mental health problems.

While utilising a holistic approach to care, we aim to monitor, manage and reduce risk, balancing therapy and security while preparing service users to lead full and independent lives in the community.
We seek to understand how each person perceives their own limitations as this enables us to empower and support them to reclaim the independence and identity they may have lost through years of hospitalisation.
Once a service user has been accepted, a comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessment will be completed. This will include a detailed personal care and management structure programme based on individual and group therapy. There is an emphasis on increasing independent living and focusing on community reintegration.
