Information for Visitors
Whist a patient is in hospital it is important that the contact with the everyday occurrences and family relationships of home are continued.
At Cygnet Hospital Wyke, relatives and carers are asked to telephone the wards to arrange a visit as circumstances may make visits difficult at times and all visits are at the discretion of the nurse in charge.
How to find us
Directions by car
Leave the M62 at junction 26 and follow the signs for Halifax via the A58 (Whitehall Road). At the second set of traffic lights turn left onto the A641 (Huddersfield Road). Approximately 200 yards further on the left there is a prominent blue sign at the entrance of the driveway indicating the location of the hospital, which is well signposted from the A58.
Directions by bus
From Bradford Interchange the 626 or 363 buses pass the hospital. Ask for the stop after the Wyke Lion public house in Wyke. From Leeds bus station take the 72 or 15 bus to Bradford Interchange and connect to the 626 or 363 buses as above.
Directions by train
From London Kings Cross take a train to Leeds. Follow the signs for the bus station and then the directions given under 'bus' above.
