Cygnet Hospital Wyke provides treatment in a low secure environment for males and females requiring longer-term rehabilitation, and also for males requiring psychiatric intensive care.

In addition to our onsite services we also have Cygnet Lodge Brighouse, our community intensive rehabilitation unit.
Facilities
Located in a pleasant suburb near the cities of Leeds and Bradford, the hospital is readily accessible by road and has ample car parking space.
The accommodation is purpose-built and offers single en suite rooms throughout. Therapy and leisure facilities contribute to a comprehensive package of care.

Discharge
Our goal is to ensure we deliver high quality appropriate client centred care to all our service users so they are well enough to leave us as quickly as possible. Therefore, from the time of admission, our staff are already planning for their discharge by preparing Care Plans and assessments.
Some service users are transferred back to their local NHS hospital if a bed becomes available. Others may remain at Cygnet until they can be discharged home with appropriate follow-up in their home area.
