Information for Visitors
Relatives and carers are asked to telephone the wards prior to visiting patients as circumstances may make visits difficult at times.
All visits are at the discretion of the nurse in charge.
There is a separate area to allow children to visit patients. Visitors are asked to inform the wards if they intend to have a child accompanying them on a visit.

Directions by car
Cygnet Hospital Stevenage is located off the A1(M).
From the South: Exit the A1(M) at Junction 8. Follow the slip road and at the roundabout take the fourth exit signposted B197 Graveley. Travel down this road approximately 200m then turn right at the sign post for Victoria & Elizabeth Court. Follow this road to the end where you will see signage for the hospital.
From the North: Exit the A1(M) at Junction 8. Follow the slip road and at the roundabout take the first exit signposted B197 Graveley.

Directions by train
The hospital is serviced well by mainline trains from Kings Cross station. Journey time is 17 minutes to Stevenage. From the station you will need to take a taxi to the hospital which will take approximately 5 minutes and cost around £4.50.
Directions by bus
The number 55 (54 on a Sunday) bus runs between Stevenage and Letchworth and stops at the Waggon & Horses pub in Graveley, which is about a 5 minute walk from the hospital. You can catch the bus from Stevenage Bus Station stop C and from Stevenage Train Station stop N.
