Dr Martin Eales, BA MB BChir PhD FRCPsych
Dr Eales trained at Cambridge University, King's College Hospital, and the Bethlem Royal and Maudsley Hospitals in London, before moving to Somerset as a Consultant Psychiatrist in 1993, where he has worked in Adult Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Old Age Psychiatry.
He was a member of the Trust Board of Somerset Partnership NHS Trust 2003-2007 as Director of Clinical Governance, and has also acted as a Clinical Governance Reviewer and as Clinical Advisor on NHS complaints for the Healthcare Commission.
Dr Eales continues to work in Somerset in the field of community adult psychiatry (including Home Treatment and Assertive Outreach), and joined Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke as Medical Director and Visiting Consultant Psychiatrist in 2008.
