Addictions

Our Addictions Service can take emergency NHS admissions. To refer, please phone 0120 8966 7000 or use our central bed booking service.

Service & Objectives

Our specialist Addiction Treatment Programme can provide physical detoxification and therapy for a range of addictive behaviours in a safe environment. This includes:

• Sex
  
• Shopping

Who is appropriate?

We will consider both planned and emergency admissions. We are able to arrange a free assessment with our Addictions Team.

Treatment Programme

We run a rolling 28 day Addictions Programme which can be joined at any time.

This follows an abstinence based 12 step recovery process which includes detoxification where necessary, group therapy, workshops, creative groups, yoga, written assignments, meditation, lectures, exercise and relaxation.

Each patient has their own bedroom with en-suite bathroom, TV with DVD-player, wardrobe, desk and personal safe. There are communal lounges, recreation areas and extensive gardens for patient use.
